Complete And Partial Dentures
Over time, people's teeth tend to naturally deteriorate. When a tooth has deteriorated substantially, it often needs to be extracted. And when multiple teeth are extracted, partials/dentures may be the most appropriate solution.
Fillings
Amalgams (Silver Fillings) Amalgams are comprised of mercury, silver, copper, tin, and zinc. They are very durable and resistant to wear, however they do not have the cosmetic result of a composite filling. The safety of silver fillings has been under scrutiny in recent years due to its mercury content. The FDA has not found any conclusive evidence to support that it is detrimental to our health at this time.

Temporary Crowns
Temporary dental crowns are usually cemented into place using "temporary" cement so they can be removed easily when it is time to cement the permanent crown on. Because this cement is not as strong as other types of dental cement, you should take some precautions so not to dislodge your temporary crown.
