Dr. Boogren was born and raised in the Detroit area. He attended Detroit Catholic Central High School and then went on to receive a biology degree from Albion College. He received his doctor of dental surgery degree from The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry in 2006
He is an active member in the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Detroit District Dental Society, and the Academy for Sports Dentistry. He attends multiple continuing education courses each year to learn the latest advanced dental techniques.
Dr. Boogren was an avid soccer player, where he played both in high school and in college. He enjoys spending time with his family at their cottage in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, and in his free time, he also enjoys running, fishing, and boating. Dr. Boogren's wife Julie is a school teacher. Together they have a son named Jensen and a daughter named Elin.
A native of Southeast Michigan, Dr. Randy Freij was raised in Livonia. Dr. Freij graduated from Detroit Catholic Central High School in 1994. He received his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Indiana University in 2004. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Freij completed a general practice residency at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Dr. Freij is active in a number of professional dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy for Sports Dentistry, and the Detroit District Dental Society. In 2006, Dr. Freij was appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to the Michigan State Board of Dentistry.
Dr. Freij completed his dental implant residency at Midwest Implant Institute.
Dr. Freij is dedicated to keeping his skills current and staying informed of the most advanced dental procedures. He has completed numerous post-graduate courses in cosmetic dentistry, sports dentistry, and dental implants. Outside of the office, Dr. Freij enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys sports, reading, and cooking.
Superior Family Dental is pleased to announce that Sarah Miller, D.D.S. has joined our practice as an associate dentist in our Farmington Hills location. Dr. Miller is proud to call Farmington Hills her hometown. She graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 2008 and completed a Dental Residency at the University of Michigan Hospital in 2009.
Dr. Miller is a member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She was trained in 2010 to administer Botox for dental related issues such as clenching, grinding, and headaches associated with TMD. She is also able to offer Botox and Dermal fillers for personal enhancement. Dr. Miller has extensively studied head and neck anatomy and muscles to best be able to treat you with Botox and filler, while also managing pain. All while taking into consideration your smile and the importance of symmetry and a natural looking appearance.
Outside of the office, Dr. Miller loves spending time with her two children, a ten-year-old daughter and a six-year-old son. In her downtime, you can also find Dr. Miller relaxing near the water. She enjoys swimming, boating, kayaking, and paddle boarding as well as gardening.
